The iWalk2.0 is a hands free crutch alternative. If you are missing your limb below the knee, or are unable to put weight on your foot due to an injury, this innovative device may be perfect for you. You must be able to bend your knee at a 90 degree angle and have relatively good balance.
For below knee amputees: This device can be helpful before your amputation, during recovery and even after you get your prosthesis. We have found that using the iWalk2.0 keeps your leg muscles activated and improves balance while waiting for an amputation to heal. When you are ready to be fit with your final prostheses, your mind and body are better prepared and you may have faster success walking with your new prostheses. The iWalk2.0 can also be used in the shower for both new and experienced below knee amputees.

You need to have a minimum of 4" of residual limb. You also need to be able to tolerate weight on that shin.
For others with an injury, you are able to wear a boot with the device. You may just need to add extra padding.
