The Alps Anterior Posterior Tapered Locking Liner is used to suspend the prosthesis on the limb. The liner is rolled up directly onto the skin and provides suspension and comfort when wearing the artificial limb. If socks are necessary to provide a better fit for the socket, the socks are added on the outside of the liner, not against the skin.
This gel liner is tapered and covered with high performance black fabric that provides the right amount of stretch for the ultimate comfort.
The locking liner comes with a locking mechanism on the bottom for pin and lock suspension style prostheses.
Be sure to order the correct size. If you are reordering and know the manufacturer's product number, please refer to the chart below. If you do not know the manufacturer's number, measure the circumference of your limb 6 cm from the end of your limb and refer to the chart below.
