The Keating Collection
Your favorite 3-legged pirate dog inspired clothes and other items.
Keating is the 3-legged pirate dog who wears a genuine peg-leg, made of willow wood. He is a certified therapy dog, and the famous mascot for Miller Prosthetics & Orthotics.
Keating was named in honor of Robin Williams, who played Professor Keating in the 1989 movie "Dead Poet Society". In the movie, Professor Keating tells his students "Carpe Diem", which is a Latin phrase meaning "Seize the Day".
Keating t-shirts were created to give as gifts to those who helped owners Mark and Nancy Miller when they volunteered in Rio de Janiero for the 2016 Paralympics. They became a big hit, and now are made available to you.
Once you have the t-shirt, take a picture of yourself wearing the shirt and you can be featured in our "Keating Was Here" online gallery! Send photo, name and location to: Orders@MillerPO.com with Keating Was Here in the subject line.
We are having fun with our newest creation - Keating's Mini-Me. It's a 8" plush version of Keating in his pirate costume. It comes with a 3d printed prosthetic leg. Be careful who you show this toy to -- you may not get it back!
